In this show, magical girls are granted a wish. In return, they must fight witches. The anime follows Madoka in thinking of what wish she will make, and meeting new magical girl friends at the same time! Juust a warning, the show covers a few mature topics!!

Sayaka is actually my least favourite design wise... but she's just so iconic. I lovee her personality.
my review (spoilers!)
this show is so sad. I cried at the end of the series. The end of the series was very satisfying because I wasn't aware how obsessive Homura really was until Rebellion. Homura is actually such a horrible person. Rebellion was a whole rollercoaster. I was absolutely flabbergasted at around the end of Rebellion when Homura rewrote the universe. After I finished watching I rewatched the clips over and over again.... And also I reallyyy love the Mami and Homura fight scene, its so good. The next movie is coming winter 2025, after like a whole DECADE. It better be good, I'm soo excited for it rn

I binge watched the whole series when I was sick lol... I saw a youtube video explaining how good it was, so I decided to watch it! Half of the reason is because a few years ago I read the fanfic Puella Magi Midori Magica on Scratch. There is a Wattpad version, but it isn't family friendly!
